My story begins four generations ago in Greece, on the island of Crete, when the Bizakis family started working in fur in 1887. In the 1920’s My grandfather moved the family to New York and became a master furrier. My father also became a master furrier and in 1961 he visited Southern California and fell in love with the West Coast. He then opened Bizakis Furs in downtown LA. We opened the fur salon in Orange in 1983, with the finest quality storage, cleaning, repair and remodeling of all garments.

Comprehensive Care from Start to Finish

When you bring your garment to Bizakis Furs, we begin with a comprehensive inspection to assess its condition. We provide you with an inspection report so you know exactly what we find and can make informed decisions about any cleaning, maintenance, or repairs that may be needed.

If repairs are recommended, we can take care of them as soon as the same day. This ensures your garment is properly prepared before it goes into storage.

Your garment is then carefully stored in our climate-controlled cold vault, designed specifically to provide the proper temperature and humidity for protecting fur, leather and any other special garments during storage. When you need it, we'll have it ready for you immediately.
